About
I provide outpatient therapy following psychiatric hospitalization, emergency intervention, or involvement with complex systems of care. My work focuses on stabilization, risk management, and continuity of care for severe and persistent mental health conditions. Specialties include chronic suicidal ideation, recurrent hospitalization, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, substance use with co-occurring conditions, and concerns related to ideological radicalization or targeted violence. Therapy is relational, structured, and safety focused.
My work is approached with care, structure, and ethical responsibility, focusing on risk reduction, insight, stabilization, and reintegration rather than judgment or confrontation. I utilize the T-SAM (Target violence and terrorism Strengths, needs, and risks: Assessment and Management) tool for ongoing therapy with clients.
Prevention Experience
For the last two years I have engaged in foundational and expanded training for preventing targeted violence and threat assessment. I have been apart of a behavioral threat management team and done individual assessments for persons of concern. I have presented at different agencies as a mental health clinician and threat assessment practitioner. My work has focused on integrating services in a community setting while providing ongoing therapeutic services.
