Prevention Experience
Since 2017, I have specialized in the creation of programs, curriculum, training, and state strategies to prevent targeted violence. I have worked on numerous DHS CP3 grants in Colorado and through my work as the Director of Preventing Targeted Violence at the McCain Institute (2022-23). I served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Resilience Collaborative from 2018-21, which focused on research and awareness-building on topics including identity-based violence, violent extremism, and multidisciplinary approaches to community safety. I am a clinical psychologist with expertise in behavioral threat assessment and management, as well as treatment services for people on the pathway to violence. I provide support and consultation to concerned family members, professionals, law enforcement, and other entities seeking guidance in these complicated and sometimes fast-paced situations.
